The Rules:The Rules are fairly simple and when followed make the game run smoothly. This community wants drama and invites drama but not in OOC. The Mod always has the right to kick you for any reason they see fit. They also have the right to deny you if they see it fit.
ACTIVITY
You must update at least once every 3 weeks. If you don't you're out. Clean outs come every Monday. If there is a reason you can not update inform the mod and you will be safe for a month, no more. We ask that you try to be on aim at least once a week.
CHARACTER LIMITS
There is a limit to how many characters you can make. Everyone is allowed four characters. Chances are if you are active with the four you have now and mature about it we will say yes to more... who knows. However, the whole point of RPing is interacting with a lot of people. That can't happen if a writer owns most of the characters. PLUS we like variety so we want characters that have different personalities and backgrounds. Only members can see the main community. All add in's and important news the mod has to post shall be in the main community. Threads & Aim Logs will be posted in main community.
DESCRIPTION
Be descriptive. Try to create storylines with other characters, either through commenting, Threads or AIM. Try to go on AIM whenever you can and talk to other people. Try to join Threads whenever you can and talk to other people. Be creative while active. Don't write one liners for journal and be descriptive on aim and in threads. One Liners will get you removed and counted for not updating.
Fair warning to all those applying. Though we are not elitist - we may be slightly strict upon who we let in. Reasoning behind this? Lacking grammar and spelling skills along with little knowledge upon how to rp maturely annoys us. We hope to discourage those people from applying. We are looking for people who's aim responses are more then a sentence. We are looking for people who have well thought-out journal examples.
MANDATORY
Weird word to hear within rules but here it is. STORYBOOK FORMAT IS MANDATORY! Rping scenes is MANDATORY! Though AIM conversations happen, we want to have people rp scenes! RPing is writing a story with another person. It's about scenes and interaction... not about aim conversations between characters. Don't agree? Don't join.
GRAPHICS
All pictures [besides friend-only graphics] are to be put under a cut-tag! Quiz's, polls, and tests are not allowed unless under cut-tag. Icon stealing is frowned upon. Make sure to have your PB & aim sn on your info page. Also the disclaimer must be linked or you will not even be considered for joining. The disclaimer is either IJ's for rpg or ours, on the info page for Grand Apartments. It is required that you put your preferred writing style in your info. [ Example: Aim & Threading. Random Scenes Ok. ]
MATURITY
This is a DRAMATIC community so don't bitch about the drama! There is suppose to be drama! Drama is required. We love drama. We crave it. Slash/Bisexual/Straight.. all of it is allowed but we do moderate it. We don't want the community to be fully slash. We allow enough so there are options for storylines for everyone. Makes sense right? On top of this... NO blocking members on aim or with your journal. No ganging up. If you play more the one character do not gang your characters up on another. No killing off characters that aren't your own! If you kill your character off it means you left the comm. No coming back as that character, simple as that. If you kill off your character, you are also blocked from playing that PB again.
OOC/IC
Do not take OOC to IC/IC to OOC. Wow, why does anyone have to even say that? Those who do are gone. Also, if I hear about you ganging all your characters against one without it making sense, say bye bye. I will kick you in seconds.
RESPONSIBILITY
Clear your storyline with the other person! Do not get pregnant unless BOTH are in agreement. Do not rape someone unless they are in agreement or shoot them or drug them and so on and so forth. Pregnancies will last for 9 months. Every 3 months count for one of the 3 trimesters. Your character can not show pregnancy until the second. And use common sense with this people. You can't have a baby and 2 weeks later be pregnant again. It's impossible. If you miscarry, you have to still wait three months till you can get pregnant again. Do not whine if you don't get your storyline or your storyline changes.
We don't want to track story lines or stick our nose in other peoples business however if we find that someone isn't playing something maturely (as in: shot today, tomorrow gets run over, next day marries, and then finds out wife is sister) we will step in. So be wise, be mature, don't make us tell you twice.

AIM & THREAD LOGS- ALL POSTS must be Friends only when posted in the community. This ensures that only active members will be able to see what is written. More so this ensures that non-members do not comment or view chats.

- SPELL CHECK! We all make mistakes and to ensure someone doesn't tease you endlessly, just take a second and spell check.
